We are delighted to extend a warm welcome to all the new students and candidates who have chosen Genex Nursing Institute as their preferred destination for pursuing a career in male nursing. Established in 2021 under the esteemed Genex Suptenndu Group, our institute aims to provide top-notch training and education to individuals who are passionate for becoming MALE NURSES. The program is affiliated by INC & approved by WBNC. Presently, we have an intake capacity of 60 students for our GNM course. We are planning to start BSC & MSC Nursing in near future. In today's dynamic world, nursing has emerged as one of the most stable and in-demand courses in India. The recent pandemic has underscored the vital role nurses play in the medical and healthcare industry, creating a wealth of job opportunities. Genex Nursing Institute is proud to be a part of the renowned Genex Suptenndu Group, founded in 2004 in memory of the great entrepreneur and philanthropist, Lt. Suptendu Dutta. Under the umbrella of the Genex Suptendu Group, we have successfully established multiple educational branches covering a range of professional and mainstream studies. Admission Is Easier Than Ever !

As per the norms of West Bengal Govt. for the academic session 2026-29, students will be admitted as per the result of common entrance test ANM & GNM 2026 conducted by WBJEEB. Any HS Board students of any stream & students who have given NEET_set can apply for GNM Nursing course. You can apply online for the seat reservation, rest of the process will be communicate through our Admission dept. in official hours (10:30 AM - 5:30 PM).

COURSES OFFERED

GNM (3 Years Diploma Program)

The General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course is a three-year diploma program in the field of nursing and midwifery. The GNM course is offered in various nursing schools, colleges, and institutions across India and other countries.

  • Duration: The GNM course typically lasts for three years, which includes both theoretical classroom training and practical hands-on experience in clinical settings.
  • Curriculum: The curriculum of the GNM course covers a wide range of subjects, including medical-surgical nursing, psychiatric nursing, pediatric nursing, community health nursing, and midwifery. The course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of nursing principles, healthcare practices, and midwifery skills.
  • Practical Training: Practical training is an integral part of the GNM course. Students are required to undergo supervised clinical training in hospitals, healthcare centers, and community settings to gain hands-on experience in patient care and various nursing procedures.
  • Affiliation and Recognition: GNM courses are offered by nursing schools and institutions that are affiliated with the respective state nursing councils and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
  • Career Opportunities: After successful completion of the GNM course, graduates become eligible to work as staff nurses, nursing supervisors, and healthcare providers in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities. They can also pursue higher education and specialize in various nursing fields.

  • Eligibility -

    • • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) from a recognized board or council. The minimum aggregate marks required may vary from institution to institution.

    • Stream: Candidates from any stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts) are usually eligible to apply for the GNM course.

    • Age Limit: The minimum age for admission is typically 17 years, and the maximum age limit is usually around 35 years. However, age relaxations may be provided for reserved category candidates as per government norms.

    •Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit and meet the prescribed physical fitness criteria. This is to ensure that they can perform the duties and responsibilities of a nurse effectively.

    •Only male students can apply.

  •  Outdoor Practice & Community Field Programs which is an integral part of the Practical Classes. Our Principal of G.N.I believes that practical classes hold the main education during their 3 years preparation & training. 

  •  Job Assistance:  Our College provide 100% Job assistance & guidance after the final semester so that students can prepare themselves for their interviews & our job assistance team provides special training to the students for their interviews & the process of submitting their application as per the job notifications. Even Principal Madam provides her own contacts as reference & students simultaneously develops their own communication skills & gathers many contacts for their future job allocation through their outdoor & social activities.   

  •  Full WI-FI Hostel & Canteen facilities: Students who don’t want to travel on daily basis can have the facility of hostel inside the campus with proper internet facilities. 

  •  Education Loan Assistance: College will provide all the documentation support & suggestions which will help candidates to get education loan through their private bank or Student Credit Card. A special person has been assigned by the management who is looking after this section to assist you.
